Serenity on the Shore – Updated and Ready for Your Beach Getaway!
We are pleased to share some recent updates to Serenity on the Shore. The living area now features a brand-new 75-inch television, and the entire interior has been freshly repainted in a soft, beach-inspired color palette.
About the Property
Serenity on the Shore was thoughtfully designed with family vacations in mind. Located in the peaceful Surfside Shores community on the Fort Morgan Peninsula, this spacious 3,168 square foot home sits just steps from the beach. No need to load up the car—walk a few steps to grab a snack, lunch, or beverage. You’ll enjoy the quiet, uncrowded beaches of Surfside Shores while being just a scenic 15-to-20-minute drive from Gulf Shores.
Inside the Home
The home welcomes you with a soaring two-story living room filled with natural light. This open, comfortable space is ideal for watching TV, playing games, or simply enjoying the view.
The first floor includes a primary bedroom with an en suite bathroom featuring a double vanity, private water closet, jetted soaking tub, and separate shower. The bedroom also has balcony access and a newly added writing desk—perfect for journaling, checking email, or working remotely.
Also on the first floor is a queen bedroom with access to a shared hall bath. A stackable washer and dryer add convenience to this space.
The large kitchen is fully equipped for nights spent dining in, with ample prep space, a prep sink, a wet bar, and a stand-alone ice maker. The dining area includes a table for ten, an additional four-seat game table, and three bar stools, providing plenty of seating for everyone.
Upstairs Features
The second floor includes a media room and additional living area, complete with a 100-inch retractable projection screen, 5.1 surround sound, and a Blu-ray player. A third-floor balcony offers beautiful views of Alabama sunsets, and a nearby wet bar with mini fridge ensures easy access to refreshments.
Also upstairs is a second primary suite with a king bed, private bath with water closet, jetted tub, and separate shower, plus balcony access and a writing desk. A queen bedroom and a bunk room with two twin-over-full beds share a Jack and Jill bathroom, with the vanity area separated from the tub and toilet for added convenience.
Additional amenities upstairs include a half bath off the media room and a full-sized washer and dryer with a laundry tub.

Surfside Shores and Fort Morgan
Surfside Shores is a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood with tree-lined streets ideal for walking, jogging, or biking. The white sand beaches here are less crowded, offering a peaceful coastal experience.
Just 15 miles from Gulf Shores, the home is close to essentials like Dollar General and Sassy Bass Market. Nearby restaurants include Tacky Jack’s, Sassy Bass (with two locations), Coast, and Jesse’s on the Bay. Several spots offer live music and local entertainment.
Fishing enthusiasts will enjoy the newly reopened Fort Morgan fishing pier, which offers convenient access to inshore fishing and a variety of local fish species.
Nature lovers should explore the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge, which spans more than 7,000 acres of protected coastal habitat. The refuge features four scenic trails of varying lengths and terrain, providing opportunities to observe native plants and wildlife in a serene environment.

2nd time renting and signed up for next year. Great experience only one drawback. The TV in the Great room is tiny and it is stuffed into a cabinet which means the audio can not be heard. Large Flat Screen TV's are not expensive and since I pay over $9,000.00 for a six week stay I would hope that next year I will be able to enjoy an upgrade to the TV in the great room. Thank you.

House was perfect for our vacation. We had 9 people and plenty of space. No complaints or issues whatsoever. The house was clean, well equipped and in great shape. The beach access was the best in Fort Morgan we have seen, and Dee Dee was on point making sure we had everything we needed. The only thing I saw wrong was the main bedroom doors to access the balcony were inoperable but wasn’t a concern of ours.

We had a great trip to Serenity on the Shore in Fort Morgan. We were traveling with two families and 5 kids. The house was clean and well appointed. The proximity to the beach was ideal - kids could play in the sand while parents had coffee on the porch; or if we were all at the beach, the kids could go get snacks/use the restroom/get toys solo. We ventured into Gulf Shores for gocarts and mini golf one day; and otherwise enjoyed the great views and beach access. We mostly ate at the house (groceries are an easy 25 minute drive to Gulf Shores); and did take out from Jesse's on the bay for our last evening. Kids all gave it 5 stars for shell collecting, too!

Great house with lots of amenities. The house is great and you can not be closer to the water. The layout of the house works great for large groups with plenty of room to spread out. The Coastal management team was great and very quick to answer any questions we had. We will definitely rent from this again and use this house!

After starting our vacation with a house that the air was out in, your company went above and beyond to help us find another location and got us in at the last minute Saturday night! The house was magnificent with the best view and literal steps away from the ocean. We could not have asked for anything better and hope to be back next year!

Great week at Serenity on the Shore! Rooms were spacious with plenty of bathrooms. Living and kitchen areas are large and great for entertaining family/friends. Two dishwashers were nice, too. Media room with large screen upstairs was a nice bonus. Washer and dryer on both levels was great. Great balcony areas, too. The house is right on the beach, so it's a short walk over your private walkway. The outside shower wasn't working properly, but we used the hose. Dee Dee was our house manager and she was great and handled a few little things for us! Overall, we were very pleased with this beach house!

Family Reunion vacation getaway was just that for this property allows an experience off the beaten path, yet close enough to the tourist attractions when desired. Fort Morgan history is a must see.

We loved our stay and can’t wait to return. The home was perfect for our family and friends. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed. The beds were comfortable. DeeDee, the property manager, was easy to deal with and just a text away. She even kept us updated on the rip tide warnings. We visited Lulu’s and Tacky Jacks 2. Both were great!

My wife and I have been coming to Fort Morgan for the past 12 years and this was our "BEST" experience. We always stay at least 5 weeks and this property is everything that we had hoped for. A clean, solid home with plenty of room to entertain. We needed very little customer service but Jen and Dee Dee were always just a text/phone call way when we needed help. I would highly recommend that the owner place a larger TV in the great room and connect the existing surround sound system to it. Although there is a wonderful Media room (for a Movie Night) we didn't find it was always convenient to watch our favorite programs there. All-in-all a wonderful property, great location and we have already placed our deposit for next year. That should tell you everything you need to know about Serenity on the Shore.

The house really fit our needs for a beach getaway with family. Perfect location, right on the beach, plenty of space from other beach lovers, lots of gathering room, two sinks and dishwashers was a plus, and plenty of sleeping spaces. One of the best things is that they had a local person looking after the house that came by when we needed assistance with any issues. However, there were a few drawbacks, but none would be a deal breaker in returning. The ice maker was out of service which lead us to have to get ice for drinks during meals. A house that sleeps as many as it does should have a second refrigerator for food to feed that many. We had to wash dishes after every meal in order to have silverware for the next sit down meal.

The owners have provided a few beverage fridges to supplement the kitchen refrigerator. This house worked well for our family of 12 including grandparents and their two families with 3 kids each. It's not fancy (and with young children we do not need fragile furniture, etc!) but was functional. Those who continued to work away from the office, enjoyed being able to look out over the beach as they worked. For one of the rain days, the movie room was a great help! Having a small enclosed area under the house to park bikes was nice. We would have appreciated a second fridge as we bring food for a week, but the two smaller ones helped out. We had a few small issues, and the management was responsive. We would recommend. (We bring plenty of supplies like kitchen soaps and scrubbers, TP, paper towels, garbage bags, etc, so we had no issues with small things like that.)

We had such a great time staying at this house for our week of celebrating with family for my husband and my retirement. It is a wonderful house right on the beach. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom so we all had our own spaces. The kitchen is wonderful and very well stocked. The property manager (Dee Dee) was very nice and super responsive but the house is so well maintained there were just a couple minor issues. We relaxed on the decks and the beach, enjoyed the wonderful views and prepared great meals in the kitchen. We didn't want to leave! Thank you!

We stayed at this property for 5 nights during our children's school spring break. We were a group of 3 families with 7 children ranging in age 6mo to 12yo. This house was absolutely perfect for us: plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable, lots of seating area in the living room and kitchen. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals (2 dishwashers!). Loved watching the waves from the back porch while having my morning coffee. The upstairs movie area was fantastic for the kids to play in and watch tv/movies on the projector screen. The bedrooms were comfortable too.
There was plenty of parking for our 3 cars. The tiny walk to the beach was perfect for our littles; just a few steps and you are on the beach.
The location is a bit secluded from the main Gulf Shores center (about 15min drive), but that's what we were looking for. Even though it was spring break and there were lots of college students around, we had plenty of space on the beach and didn't feel crowded at all. We loved Tacky Jacks and River Fish Grill for meals.
Overall we loved our stay and will definitely be back!

This house was perfect for our family of 14. Everything you need is there. The kitchen was stocked with every item you’d ever use. Each bedroom had extra plugs and USB outlets. We never wished for something we needed but forgot to bring. And being a few steps to the water, was a cherry on top. Jen and DeeDee were so helpful with every detail.

This was a family beach vacation. We enjoyed so much being really close to the water. We had lots of space to move around. Kitchen was very well stocked One of the best things was being out of the main thoroughfare. We will definitely consider this rental again.
