Sitting on the deck was like sitting on the beach, it was that close to the beach. The location was the best. House had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

Almost Heaven was incredible. The huge beach side deck is where we spent most of our time. The house has everything you could want and beach is gorgeous! It was the perfect place for our group. I would highly recommend Almost Heaven to anyone.

Almost Heaven was exactly that & accommodated our family of 12 amazingly. Spacious, clean, updated-the kitchen was super with filtered waterspout & double dishwashers, frigs, trashcans-made it very convenient for 12! Nice updated 6 1/2 baths & showers! Open spacious living area & great 1/2 covered deck with quick access to beautiful almost private beach. Comfortable beds except for mattresses on bunk beds weren’t as much so-(I know those are usually for kids which would have been fine), but we had 2 adults on the bottom bunks so thicker mattresses would have made it perfect! Extra game room with frig was great for game nights & ping pong table was a highlight! Only other recommendation to make it perfect would be to have a Roomba that could be run daily to get ALL the sand up off ALL the hardwood floors throughout the whole house that invariably gets tracked in no matter how hard you try not to. Too much floor to sweep/vacuum especially since you’re on vacation! Thanks so much!!

Our family totally enjoyed our stay at Almost Heaven and Blue Lagoon Escapes. Everything was cleaned well and the amenities were great. There was plenty of room and being able to walk outside on the deck and enjoy the sounds of the ocean was awesome. We will definitely go back to visit again.

We had family from CA fly in to Pensacola to meet us for a great week of celebrating Christmas. This was the perfect place with cleanliness, space, and a view that is priceless!

I love the big Kitchen/dinning area and Living room. We have a large family so we had plenty of room to be together and also enough room for each family to have their own space as well. Great place!

The owners thought of every possible amenity! The beach is incredible. House was extremely spacious and clean.

We housed the groomsmen for our son’s wedding and this house was perfect. The boys loved the beach access! We had our rehearsal dinner here and everybody enjoyed the deck area and listening to the waves on the beach they didn’t want to leave they were so relaxed. Having 2 ovens and the large double fridge freezer in the main kitchen was a major hit!!!! Suggestion if you plan on staying at this property. Pack dish towels, dishwasher soap and paper towels. You will have everything else you need provided!

This home was everything we wanted and needed for our Thanksgiving week. Beach access and view is perfect. We put both refrigerators, stoves, and dishwashers to good use. We will definitely book again.

The layout of the house was great for my 80+ year old mom and uncle with everything on one level.

The house was perfect for 4 couples, with lots of extra space and bedrooms. The view was fabulous, right on the beach. Everything was better than expected.

Almost Heaven was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. It was close enough to restaurants and shopping to be convenient but off the beaten path. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back!

The location was outstanding, the amenities are over the top, the amount of space for everyone made for a fabulous vacation for a large family. Plenty to do in the area. A multitude of restaurants and venues. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay as stress free and enjoyable as possible.

This house was everything our group wanted and more. The best beachfront location you can possibly imagine. So spacious and comfortable inside and out. Truly an amazing place to relax and form family memories.

Our two families had an awesome time at Almost Heaven. The house was perfect! Clean, roomy, and right on the beach. The pictures online don't do it justice. The Gulf views from the main deck are incredible!! Whether inside or outside, there are multiple spaces to gather and spend time together. The beach was not crowded at all, as the house is removed from the busier sections of Gulf Shores. It was the perfect house for us and everyone had a great time.

Our group could not have been happier with Almost Heaven. It's a great home with ample room, nice finishes and sits on a gorgeous section of Gulf Shores beach. The only negative is we enjoyed ourselves so much that the week absolutely flew by. Our party will definitely look to stay here again next year. Almost Heaven is aptly named!

Almost Heaven is wonderful ! This was our 3rd year in a row staying here. The views from the huge deck never get old. Sunrises and sunsets are incredible. The beach in amazing. White sands and gentle surf. We felt as if the entire beach was just ours. The home was clean and had everything we needed. There is so much room that we never felt crowded. The kitchen is thoughtfully designed with 2 of everything. We especially enjoyed the new grilling platform that was added. It is a great spot to hang out, cook and relax!! It was difficult to leave, but we are already making plans for year 4. We would recommend this home to anyone. You will not regret it. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home with us.

This is our 3rd year in a row renting this property with two co-workers and their families. This is the 1st year the kids were too old (in college) to come. We cane anyway even though we did not use 3 of the bedrooms. We love the house and location that much. Beautiful home with great decks and views right on what seems like a private beach.

The gulf views from the deck are amazing. There was room for everyone to spread out and both the kitchen and the laundry facilities more than accommodated our needs. We will definitely be back!

The house had plenty of room for 19 of us. The kitchen was very well stocked and the location was phenomenal. Most days we had the entire beach to ourselves. The porch and being oceanfront were such an advantage. Can't wait to come back!

We so enjoyed our stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at Almost Heaven! There were 14 of us and we had room to spare. The house was very clean and comfortable. There was PLENTY of space for us to eat and hang out, particularly on the huge beachside deck. There was tons of space for tinies, teens and adults. The location is amazing, literally steps from the water. The beach is beautiful and felt as if it was our own private, secluded getaway. The home is far enough away from the city, but close enough to get to restaurants and stores by car. The two of everything kitchen was incredible. There was plenty of storage, room to cook, and seating for us to eat (inside and outside). Multiple washers/dryers made reluctant packing easy. The bedrooms were great for our group to be together but have some privacy. We cannot wait to stay here again!

Almost Heaven was exactly as described. Absolutely beautiful and the view was breathtaking! Any questions I sent were answered right away. We had a group of 12 ladies for the weekend, ample room for everyone. We couldn’t have asked for a better beach home to accommodate us. We had the best time! I highly recommend Almost Heaven.

Excellent stay on the beach. As locals who were wanting to throw a beach front Christmas get together for the family this house was perfect for everyone ranging age 2 to 72! We enjoyed the room, comfortable, separation for kid and adult areas and the quick access out to the beach. Great stay for the money if you have a sizable group. Thanks for hosting our crew!

We had the best vacation ever at Almost Heaven. It literally was, almost heaven! The place was spacious and clean and had a wonderful view of the beach. The kitchen was MORE than stocked with everything we needed to cook our Thanksgiving dinner. We all had a great time. We would definitely book this place again!

I had the pleasure of staying at Almost Heaven this past week. I loved the communication that was sent prior to my stay giving me information I needed. The interior of the home is simply beautiful!! The owners have done an amazing job. This is definitely a home that would fit large groups. There were 5 bedrooms, plus a bunk room and pull-out couches. The kitchen was generously stocked with all sorts of cookware, bakeware, utensils, and dishes. I loved that there were two dishwashers!! Actually, there were three refrigerators and two microwaves as well! The house is well maintained. My friends and I absolutely loved all of the furniture that was on the back porch too! It was the perfect place to enjoy our morning coffee and tea while we sat and visited or read. I highly recommend Almost Heaven to anyone looking for a great location and beach getaway!!

We stayed here for a staff retreat for our small staff of 7. The space allowed for us to all be comfortable as well as to have a workspace set up separate from a space to relax

Very roomy truly sleeps 21 comfortably! The double appliances made cooking for a crowd a breeze especially the cleanup with two dishwashers. Lots of windows and decks with great beach view. Then just a short walk over the dunes and you’re on the beach. Altogether it was perfect!

It was as wonderful in real life as the pictures. We were married on the beach and had plenty of room for our immediate family to stay with us in the house. The open kitchen and living space was perfect for our casual reception.

Loved the house. Clean, comfy and right on the beach! Our group had a great time. There were so many places to hang out and relax outside from decks to platforms to balconies. It isn't a question of if we will stay here again, it's just a question of when. Our entire group would highly recommend.

We could not have been more pleased with the house. It sits right on the sand dunes, overlooking the Gulf. We watched football, fished, walked on the beach, ate some incredible food and thoroughly enjoyed our time at Almost Heaven. It is a beautiful home, well stocked with lots of space for everyone. Change the name from almost heaven to heaven- we had a large family group and the house fit us perfectly we loved every minute!

We loved this home! It was very clean on arrival and tastefully furnished. The large kitchen, living, and dinning room combination was perfect for our family. The separate smaller living area was just great for the kids. Having double appliances in the kitchen and laundry were a plus! The only negative was not having an ice maker in the bar area. Also the ice maker in the second living area was not working? But would definitely visit again!

The house was very good. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with items needed for cooking, probably the best we have ever had in the 8 plus years we have been renting a house for family vacations. We really enjoyed everything being on one level and each family could have their space. It would have been nice to have a walkway over the dunes to get to the beach like some other houses have and a swimming pool might have been nice, but we would definitely stay here again.

We had two families and a set of grandparents for a week. We loved having two living rooms for the teenage kids and adults. Plenary of bathrooms. LOVED the kitchen, double of everything!! The beds were comfortable, and the view was amazing. Right on the beach!! We would love to book again.

Almost Heaven is a wonderful place to stay at the Gulf Shores Beach. The house is perfect for our family of 15!!

Almost Heaven is an updated home on the beach that provides the best of all worlds. The duplicate appliances and well-stocked kitchen make meal prep easy. Everyone had their own attached bathroom which is a luxury and having two living areas allows for separation between the adults and children. The seating on the decks allows guests to sit in the sun or the shade. The management company responded to any concerns immediately. The beach is never crowded in that area which allowed us to set up a volleyball net, make sandcastles, throw frisbees, toss a football, and ride boogie boards. Our family loves the area.

The house is beautiful and the views can't be beat. Pictures don't do Almost Heaven enough justice! Comfortable, homey, clean, spacious. We couldn't have had a better stay. Our group is already making return trip plans. This is a great home. Thank you.

Loved, loved, loved this home!! Newly remodeled and thoughtfully designed. This house sits ON THE BEACH. Wow! Huge deck, incredible kitchen and 2 living rooms! There was space enough for our entire group of 16 and we were never crowded. The house is away from the busy areas and we felt like we had the entire beach to ourselves. No one wanted to leave. This home was fantastic. Best spring break ever!

We had 13 people on our trip of all age groups. From 4 to 76. Our older kids had their own space as well as the younger kids. The large kitchen with TWO of every appliance making cooking a breeze. The large deck was a perfect place to play or just sit and look out at the ocean!

This home sits on a quiet, private section of beach with unobstructed views of the gulf. We were literally steps from the gulf and the beach was so empty, not crowded with people at all. The home is all on one level and has been thoughtfully remodeled. There are two living rooms allowing both adults and kids to each have their own comfortable lounging space. The heart of this home is its large, open kitchen and it is beautiful! Two of every appliance was an incredible feature and made meal prep and clean up a breeze! A huge table and accompanying island allowed our entire crew to enjoy our meals together. The owner provided movies and board games were nice added features, but THE BEST was just spending time on the deck watching sunrises and sunsets while listening to the ocean. We had a great time and have already made plans to return! #itwasawesome

This house layout is perfect for multiple families. It has two of everything, living rooms, microwaves, dishwasher, washer/dryers. It’s all one level so great for families with kids and/or seniors. The location is perfect. We loved that it is right on the beach And far enough down the strip that it’s very private. Only about 20 minutes from most attractions and Walmart! The beach was beautiful with lots of shells and we saw dolphins almost everyday from our back deck.

This house was an ideal set up for a large, multigenerational family. We will definitely be back!

There was so much I loved about this house! Proximity to the beach, very large deck with nice view of the beach and sunsets, great kitchen for cooking for a crowd with lots of refrigerator space, and maybe best of all, having a second great room! That large back room has game tables, a half bath, and it's own mini kitchen so it was perfect for the kids to use in the evenings and on rainy days. It was wonderful to be with family in such a great location!!

This was our 2 year in a row staying at this home. It was perfect. There was 16 of us all adults and we had plenty of room. The house is so nicely renovated and the beach is just a few steps from deck. Was nice having our own beach area and not having to rush down early morning to get a spot on beach like it is when we stay at a condo. The family will definitely stick to renting houses on the beach.

A piece of heaven! The online pictures don't do this place justice. The home sits on a beautiful private section of beach in Gulf Shores. It has a huge single-story layout which comfortably accommodated our group of 14. The kitchen is massive and had everything we needed. The picnic tables on the deck were a particular hit with our group as we ate outside most evenings while taking in sunsets. The kids loved having their own separate living room for playing games and watching tv while the adults were able to hear themselves talk in the main living room. Our whole group had a great time and we have already made plans to return. It was a fantastic getaway!

This was a perfect roomy house for our family reunion. The large kitchen had double everything (stove, refrigerator, etc). One of our favorite things was the table that seated all 13 of us! We were very close to the beach which made it easy setting up for sunbathing or watching our group from the large covered porch.

Great house with a lot of space for large family gatherings. Perfect location for easy access to stores etc… And private front beach access, which is great so you can come and go as needed without having to pack up every time you need to go inside.

This is a fantastic home and was perfect for our extended family vacation. The double appliances in the kitchen was super helpful! The home is really close to the water which was helpful for the multiple trips needed with the little ones. The home offered so much in the way of comfort and was designed so nicely.

This home is situated on the front beach of Gulf Shores, Alabama. The white sands meet the blue-green ocean. The water is just a stone’s throw away so you hear the surf from the spacious front porch. The house has been refinished with all of the modern conveniences. We stayed with family and had ample room for our count of 18. We all had our own private bedrooms and bath. The kitchen is open to the great living room/ dinning room, so one can be part of the ongoing activity and conversation. There are 2 dishwashers, 2 electric ranges and ovens, 2 refrigerators and freezers and 2 sinks with garbage disposals! So feeding a crowd is no problem. We found the house clean and tidy on our arrival. No complaints. Highly recommend this beach house. David

We loved everything about this beach house, beautiful kitchen with a great layout, plenty of space for the whole family on one level with a large bonus room for the kids to have their own space. The dual appliances in the kitchen and laundry room are a game changer! Loved the large deck overlooking the beautiful white sand and being able to see all the stars at night. Fabulous location for a family vacation!

"Our family had a picture-perfect family vacation at Almost Heaven. There was plenty of space for the four families that traveled together. We loved the separate family room area for the teenagers, where they could be loud and have fun without disrupting the rest of the group. The house was fully stocked with kitchen gadget, dishes, and appliances, and we definitely made use of both microwaves, ovens, dishwashers, and sinks, as well as the three refrigerators and ice machines. The house decor and much of the furniture was like new, and everything was exceptionally clean (particularly important given the circumstances). The proximity to the beach was incredible, just a 30 second walk to dipping your toes in the gulf. But even better, is that the house is situated on the quiet end of the beach with no public access nearby, and far away from the crowded beaches and condo high-rises. There were plenty of deck seating to enjoy the amazing view of the gulf, and lots of beach and water toys for the kids to enjoy. We're already looking forward to our trip back to Almost Heaven again next year!"

We had 5 different groups staying at the house with a total of 17 people. We had more than enough room and the house was perfect for a group this size or larger. The kitchen had two of everything (microwaves, ovens, fridges, dishwashers, garbage can pullouts, sinks, etc.) so we could easily work with each other every day without any difficulty. The very few issues we had when we checked in were dealt with quickly by the management company. The views from the extra large deck and easy access to the beach and surf was great! It was also nice being out a little bit form the crowded condos as the beach was extra quiet with no crowds! Overall a great stay.

We have rented beach houses for years-in Orange Beach, Fort Morgan, and Gulf Shores; but “Almost Heaven” was by far the best one yet. The one floor layout was wonderful for our 18-member family, the location was private yet close to everything, and management was so responsive to all of our inquiries! We will be back! Almost Heaven was the perfect place to spend a week with our family. The interior is beautiful and perfectly laid out for multiple families to share the space together. The kitchen is very well stocked, and each room is tastefully decorated. The home has been recently renovated, and the owners made thoughtful choices. The location on the Gulf is private and quiet with a beautiful white sand beach just outside the back door. We highly recommend this beautiful home.

What a great beach house! Our family loved the home and had a great stay. The deck is incredible, and we kept finding ourselves there enjoying the view and sounds of the ocean. The house is thoughtfully laid out and tremendously functional / convenient. Space for kids and adults. Not crowded at all and all on one level. Kitchen was a-maz-ing!! Two of everything!! It was a wonderful vacation and we will definitely return. Didn’t want our time to end!

We couldn’t have asked for more! The house was recently completely renovated and is gorgeous. It was spotless When we got there and everything was in working order. The kitchen has two of every appliance and there are two washers/dryers. There are plenty of all kinds of kitchen supplies. The kids loved their bunk bed bedroom and adults loved the huge island in the kitchen. The house is close to town but far enough that it is quiet and you don’t get town traffic. The beach was not overcrowded. What a great place to stay! We can’t wait to go again!!!

All most heaven describes this home perfectly! Our time spent here was wonderful. Beautifully furnished and right on the beach with amazing views. Away from busy beaches but close to amenities.

Almost Heaven was amazing. There were four of us couples in the home and we never felt on top of each other or cramped. The home was beautiful and had all the amenities you could want. The beach is a hop, skip and a jump from the back deck. Views were breath taking, the beach was clean and never crowded. I can't say enough good things about this home and Gulf Shores!

Everything we needed and much more. Spacious, well-appointed rooms with wonderful views throughout. Duplicate appliances and long dining table were so convenient for our big group. Extra family room was a perfect hideaway for the kids. Kitchen was well stocked. Favorite experience was sitting on the rocking chairs on the porch listening and watched the waves. So tranquil.

This was the perfect home for our anniversary trip. The house is just steps from the beach and there is a huge deck on the beach side where we sat to eat, drink our morning coffee or tea and read a book. The deck even has seating in the shade and in the sun so you can do either depending on your mood. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some, including 2 dishwashers. The rest of the house was beautifully decorated and so roomy. We will definitely be back to stay again.

House is very spacious and beautifully decorated. Kitchen was great for our large extended family. We had a couple of issues with the wifi and one of the garbage disposal - both were taken care of within 24 hours. Would definitely recommend this property.

When we booked our trip, we weren't sure what to expect. What a deck! Our group of 10 spent the entire time enjoying it. There is a ton of seating, sun and shade areas and great views of the beach. The house has everything we could have wanted. The kitchen is awesome and has 2 of everything. The wine refrigerator was a nice touch too! I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking to spend time in Gulf Shores. It is aptly named: Almost Heaven.

This is not only an amazing house but also the access to the private beach was incredible! If you are looking for a great place to stay for your Bible Study group retreat, then this is certainly an incredible place to do so!
