The Annual Alabama Coastal Bird Fest

The John L. Borom Alabama Coastal BirdFest returns April 23-26, 2026! We’re crafting an incredible schedule for local bird lovers and birders from around the U.S. to experience the stunning habitats and magic of spring migration along the Northern Gulf Coast.

Expect workshops, expert-guided birding at the region's best birding hotspots, and a fun community atmosphere. This year will include trips to our long-standing bird banding station at Fort Morgan, iconic Dauphin Island stops, plus a few exciting new additions we can't wait to share.
