The Highlights
Where to begin?! This adorable Morgantown cottage provides an ideal beach vacation destination. It's modern, beautifully decorated and provides tons of outdoor decking. It's conveniently located and is a short walk to both pools and several beach access boardwalks. Families and guests of all ages appreciate the one-story floor plan, the generous room sizes and the three full baths. Don't get us wrong, the inside of the home is gorgeous, but we can't get past the oversized decking and comfortable and durable polywood furniture. Guests will enjoy coffee, cocktails and everything in between on these fabulous decks. When you're at the beach, you want to be outside, and this home makes it both possible as well as very enjoyable!
The Space
Step inside and you'll fall in low with the tranquil color palette and the comfortable furnishings. Loads of seating in the living room allow the entire group to gather for a night of TV watching, game playing or just hanging out to discuss the adventures of the day.
The kitchen features stainless appliances, granite countertops and plenty of counter seating.
The bedrooms are crisp and clean and both King rooms have private baths. The other two rooms, one a Queen and the other two Twin/Twin bunks share a hall bath. This floor plan is great for providing both space and privacy.

Fort Morgan and Morgantown
Morgantown is a lovely, unique seaside community featuring two swimming pools, a kiddie pool, two lighted tennis/pickleball courts and several beach access boardwalks. When you first arrive, you'll notice pride of ownership in this pastel colored, beautifully landscape neighborhood. Guests really enjoy walking and biking along the quiet streets and many rent golf carts and enjoy sunset drives. If you have small children or just prefer the convenience of parking close to the beach, there is a public lot just to the west of Morgantown.
Located a scenic 15 miles from Gulf Shores, you'll find everything you need close at hand. Dollar General and Sassy Bass Market are just a few miles away and have all the basics you might need. There are several restaurants nearby offering a variety of tasty dishes. Tacky Jack's, Sassy Bass (2 locations), Coast and brand-new Jesse's (opening soon) to name a few. Some venues even offer live, local entertainment.
Fort Morgan fishing pier is now open, and anglers will have access to convenient inshore fishing and the abundant species locally available.
Be sure and visit nearby Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge with over 7,000 acres of coastal habit. You'll be able to hike through the preserve and observe local flora and fauna. There are 4 trails, varying in size and terrain, and you'll definitely want to make time to visit this natural oasis.
For added security and peace of mind, this home is equipped with a video doorbell.

Good stay. House was very accommodating for 8 guests, ages 2 to 67. 3rd bathroom a plus in house this size. Everything very efficient. 5 minute walk or so to beach/boardwalk. Nice beach. Water not quite as blue and sand not as white as farther east, but clear and clean with space for everyone. Not a condo building or hotel in sight, so beach is much less crowded.

The Sea Salt was the perfect vacation house for our family vacation. Absolutely immaculate and very organized. Just a short walk to the beach and pool. The property manager was very nice and responsive as well as informative on community events.

I cannot say enough food things about Sea Salt. We have been coming to Gulf Shores/OB/Fort Morgan since I was a kid, and have stayed in many condos and houses. This year we wanted a quiet oasis away from the crowds but close enough to activities and entertainment. I don't know if I can ever stay anywhere else again. We found so much peace and joy at Sea Salt, we were looking into real estate in Morgantown by the time we left! The cleanest and most organized place we have ever stayed easily. The location in proximity to the beach was perfect, and the front porch alone was enough to keep us happy. The place is the perfect size and has just the right amount of space for a family to enjoy. It seemed like there was a peaceful place to rest or relax all over the house, including the beach garage underneath! 10/10, will stay again! Also Linda the property manager was accessible, professional, and lovely to talk to giving us tips and Morgantown events!

We had an amazing time. We love Fort Morgan & Morgantown. The house was great! Plenty of space, clean & had just about anything you would need. The owners even have sand toys, beach towels & beach chairs for guest's use. The property management was a pleasure to work with. Ms. Linda texted to make sure we had everything we needed & were enjoying the property. We also left behind a few items and she went above and beyond to help return the items. We will most definitely use Coastal View Vacations again. Go ahead and book your vacation, you will not be disappointed.

Our family loved our stay at Sea Salt. We have 5 children including a 20 month old to 16 year old. They loved access to the beach and pools and the space they each had in their bedrooms. They have already asked us if we can book this specific spot for future vacations. The kitchen had everything you could imagine if you want to cook in instead of eat out. Having the laundry was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed our time relaxing. The kids also enjoyed the hammock and outdoor seating options. As advertised the internet is spotty at best but we enjoyed breaking free of the grid for the most part. We enjoyed the private beach but a short drive to historic fort Morgan and the other direction was only 20 minutes or less to the main Gulf Shores and Orange Beach sites.
