The Space
The first thing you'll notice when you arrive is the outdoor living space on the ground level. Comfortable furniture, a BBQ grill and that all important swing makes this the perfect hang out space. Although the home is spacious, we know you want to be outside when you are at the beach, and this is the perfect hang out spot.
The spacious deck is the perfect spot to either begin or end your day. Gaze at the surf or the both!
Venture inside and you'll find everything you need for your home away from home. Ample seating for game playing and TV watching. Counter seating, in addition to the dining table mean there is room for all at mealtime. The well-equipped kitchen boasts updated appliances and the very rare in Fort Morgan, gas range! You enjoy preparing simple meals after a fun day at the beach.
There are two bedrooms that share a hall bath (tub/shower combination) and a primary bedroom with a private bath. The master has a soaking tub and a separate shower.

Fort Morgan
Located a scenic 15 miles from Gulf Shores, you'll find everything you need close at hand. Dollar General and Sassy Bass Market are just a few miles away and have all the basics you might need. There are several restaurants nearby offering a variety of tasty dishes. Tacky Jack's, Sassy Bass (2 locations), Coast and brand-new Jesse's (opening soon) to name a few. Some venues even offer live, local entertainment.
Fort Morgan fishing pier is now open, and anglers will have access to convenient inshore fishing and the abundant species locally available.
Be sure and visit nearby Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge with over 7,000 acres of coastal habit. You'll be able to hike through the preserve and observe local flora and fauna. There are 4 trails, varying in size and terrain, and you'll definitely want to make time to visit this natural oasis.

We worked directly with Jen and Allison from Coastal View Vacations with this rental. They both were awesome at communication and answering all our questions. A short walk to the beach was great. The house was clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed our getaway from the snow!!

First off dealing with Coastal View Vacation Rentals was fantastic! This house and this area is so beautiful! Very clean and so well taken care of! The owners have thought of everything to make your stay feel like "home". Everything from fans in every bed room for white noise to sippy cups in the kitchen! A fully stocked kitchen if you want to cook, or grilling under the covered patio if you would like to have him cook! Nothing has been overlooked! If you're not looking for a vacation including kids; you'll love this place too! Very short drive to Gulf Shores with plenty of cool places to stop and sip in between! Very short walk to a beautiful, clean, semi private beach that was not overly crowded. Beautiful! Highly recommend! Cannot wait to go again!

We fell in love with the area and the house. Under the house it is paved, so the kids rode their bikes. There is a variety of seating and a swing, bonus! Everything was super clean, the beds were all very comfortable, and everything was very kid friendly. Our only downfall was the location to the beach. The walk wasn’t bad at all, but we have 3 kids under 6 and for them it was challenging to walk back and fourth. Overall we were highly satisfied and would definitely recommend!

The house is very nice with a very short walking distance to the beach. The house was very clean when checking in. Only negative I would say is that the supply of garbage bags was very few, just the one that was in the garbage can, so I had to run to store and purchase more for the property. The manager was quick to respond when I did have an issue. Would highly recommend.

Smiles and Waves exceeded my expectations. The house is spacious and is well maintained. The outdoor shower, sand box, grill and swings were a huge hit for my family. This home is in walking distance to the beach, not even a three minute walk. I have four small children and the walk was very doable. The beach was not crowded at all. We will definitely be returning.

We really enjoyed our stay in Fort Morgan at Smiles N Waves. This is our 3rd trip to Fort Morgan. We love the area because it is quiet and the beach isn’t crowded. Smiles N Waves accommodated our party of 5 well. We loved the large master suite, the well equipped kitchen, and the outdoors spaces. The front deck had a nice view of the ocean since there is not a home directly in front of this property. There is a bit of a walk to beach access. This wasn’t really a problem for us as we just learned to pack light for our beach days! I was very impressed with the property management team at Coastal View Vacations. They were helpful and provided prompt responses to my questions!

The home was perfect! We arrived to a clean home and it lived up to expectations. The location was great!! The only problem was the lack of available kitchen supplies. There were a good amount of bowls for mixing, and the pots and pans were adequate, but there were not baking pans. It’s hard to make cinnamon rolls without a pan. We made it work, but had to get creative. Overall the stay was very relaxing and the home was supplied with unexpected things like beach chairs and sand toys.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the "Smiles N Waves" beach cottage. We loved sitting on the front porch with the ocean breeze and lovely view.
The house was extremely clean. It was well stocked with all we needed to cook. The updated beach themed decor and comfortable furniture made it a joy to stay there with our family.
The close proximity to the beach and the many delicious restaurant choices made it a wonderful location. My whole family said it was a great vacation and we look forward to planning another trip to "Smiles N Waves".

Ten of us (4 adults & 6 kids) comfortably stayed here for 4 nights / 5 days. We LOVED the close proximity to the beach. Our kids range in age from 11 to 18 and we felt comfortable letting them walk back & forth from the beach to the house. The beach is clean & beautiful! We stayed on the main drag in Orange Beach last year; this was a much different experience... quieter, farther from attractions. Both have their appeal! Dollar General is about 12 minutes away, and everything else (groceries, WalMart, shopping & restaurants) is at least 20 minutes away. We enjoyed coffee on the porch in the morning, looking at the ocean. Beds are comfy, showers are nice, & the house is clean & pretty. The kitchen is stocked well, and there is plenty of storage space. Washer & dryer are conveniently located and work well. We used the grill several times, and enjoyed spending a couple of evenings hanging out on the patio furniture in the car port area. Several of us went for walks/runs on the road just south of the house; it's a quiet road without much traffic, and there are lots of pretty houses & views to look at. We really enjoy the following in Orange Beach / Gulf Shores: The Track & Adventure Island for mini golf & go-karts; Sea-n-Suds, The Gulf & Oyster House for restaurants; and Surf Style & Ron Jon for shopping. The property manager was very friendly, helpful, & quick to reply. Let her know if something is wrong! Highly recommend!

This home is situated on beautiful and peaceful Ft Morgan.
The area is so quiet and serene. The home is beautiful and very clean.
It has all the comforts of home except you also get to gaze upon the wonderful view of the gulf. We will return and enjoy it again soon!!

Everything was good, except one night wind was blowing and something on the roof is loose. It banged all night waking us up several times.
