We stayed here with my parents and our 3 young kids. The house was in a great location (close enough but away from the crowds). You need to bring your own detergent (laundry and dishwasher) as the house only provides enough for one load each. When staying a week, you’ll need to wash towels and your wet, sandy beach clothes. There is a good selection of beach chairs and sand toys in the closet downstairs. We had easy access to the beach and could walk or drive to the two neighborhood pools. Overall, we had a great time and would stay here again.

Clean, well appointed. Screened in porch was great for relaxing, while hearing the waves. Walkway from house to shore took away the most dreaded thing about a beach vacay—the hauling of all the beach necessities. Would stay here again for sure.

The home is in a great Gulf front area. It is in a quiet neighborhood near Ft Morgan and several nature trails. It is comfortably furnished. The upstairs master could use a new matress.The house itself has many amneties like pleanty of cookware and kitchen appliances. Plenty of beach supplies in downstairs closet. Soft spot in floor near loveseat.

Very pleasant stay! Found home in a very clean state. Linda was very great to work with, on top of things. I was surprise to find that house does not have a automatic ice maker in fridge, there was however a ice machine counter style but just not able to keep up. Their is a Dollar General very near by and has a nice grocery section as well, it maybe we just like a lot of ice.Two things that may be a concern to some is that the beach is washing away at a alarming rate. There is a drop off approx. 20 inch about 20 feet from walkway does not leave much sitting room plus other visitors are walking in this area. Please use caution with young kids. The other thing is the 3 steps down from main level to get to deck!! I have very bad knees so this was not what I was expecting to find, but it was my problem but something to consider. I knew about the steps getting into home but this is a giving. The fan in downstairs bathroom did not work, but told Linda not to worry about it for now. Deck furniture is of very high quality and comfortable. The enclose area of deck was very nice and was main reason for renting!!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Summers End. The house provided everything for a fun, yet relaxing, vacation. Beautifully decorated, with all anyone would ever need, Summers End was more than we could have imagined. Being able to walk out the back door and be on the beach was amazing! The house, the beach, the privacy, the community, and the restaurants/shops/and stores made this a location look forward to returning to. We have already booked it for the same time next year.

This property was fantastic for our family of 6 ( 3 adults, 2 teens and 1 child) with room to spare! Great location on the beach. It’s is close to public access, which can make the beach area a little busy but once we claimed our spot near the house we had no issues. The house is clean and pretty well maintained. Kitchen has everything you could possibly think of! The beds are comfortable! We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

Upon entry property was beautiful, view was spectacular, and we couldn't have been happier with our rental choice. The property was well equipped, with anything you could use in the kitchen, to all the necessary beach items in the storage area, which the teenagers even decided to organize them along the walls better, and the selection was more than you could anticipate to take to the beach. A nice binder was available upon entry with all the local information and management numbers for any issues. We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and seeing dolphins every morning off the coast during breakfast. Couldn't ask for anything better. The only thing we noticed, was there was a small trash bag left on the upper deck and small wrappers in one of the nightstand drawers, but we quickly threw them away, and went upon our vacation. We brought friends with us, and there was plenty of space for everyone. Couldn't be happier and will look forward to another vacation in Morgantown, Ft Morgan, using one of your properties, hopefully this one will be available when the time comes, as we loved it so much.

We had such a relaxing spring break with our teenagers and their friends. Being on the beach was an absolute dream; the whole crew was in awe of the view. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor space for all. The home was beautiful, clean, and cozy. The teenagers were able to easily drive into town and find places to eat and shop. We would highly recommend Summer's End!

We had the best beach vacation ever! The house was clean and well supplied with items needed. Absolutely loved being right on the beach and the short distance down the boardwalk to the sand and relaxation. The screened in porch was a great spot to sit with family and enjoy time together. Our two year old grandson would get up every morning and say “beach beach”. He couldn’t want to get to the beach. Being able to bring our dogs was also a big plus. The only issue we had was the lock to the storage door wouldn’t work but Linda the property manager handled it immediately after she was contacted. She even came by to check on us but we were out. A few more closer restaurants would have been nice but we managed to find places to eat and gain a few lbs. We enjoyed eating at Cactus Cantina, Gelato Joe’s, Tacky Jacks and a few others not too far from house. Thank you for sharing your beautiful beach home with us. It was a much needed relaxing vacation and we couldn’t have picked a better place to relax.

We loved the location and the convenience to the Beach, but the dishwasher wasn’t working the entire time we were there, and the sheets weren’t totally clean.

Being just steps from the beach is as good as it gets! We do apologize for the dishwasher and although we try to replace appliances the same day, it isn't always possible. It is our understanding that a portion of the rent was refunded due to the inconvenience. The sheets are provided by the cleaners, and they are washed and sanitized off site. Our records show that we did offer to have the cleaners replace the sheets, but the offer was declined. Our goal is always 100% guest satisfaction, and if we fall short, we try to resolve any issues as quickly as possible. We would love the opportunity to welcome you back!

Perfect!Summer’s End was perfect for our girl’s getaway. The location is beautiful and we could not be more excited to be right on the beach. We enjoyed a spectacular sunset every night and watched dolphins swimming just off the beach! We loved the views from the house as well. The house was very clean and comfortable with more than enough room to spread out. We can’t wait to go back with our husbands.

We had a great time at Summer’s end. The house has a great location right on the beach. The house was clean and very comfortable for our seven guests. There are plenty of boogie boards and beach toys in the storage closet. Everything worked fine and we had a wonderful stay at Summer’s End

Picturesque Vacation Home from a Novel

When you read a novel about a vacation at a beach house, this is the place you are envisioning. Summer’s End is picturesque. When you step inside the front doorway, you are met with a wall of windows framing the ocean outside. The inside is beautiful, spacious, and clean. The open kitchen/dining area is perfect for family and friends to cook, eat, and visit together. There are numerous beds and bathrooms to comfortably fit a large gathering. My favorite part was stepping outside the back door onto the powder white beaches and listening to the lapping waves of the ocean. I highly recommend Summer’s End for a wonderful beach retreat.

We had a wonderful stay at Summer’s End! This is a wonderful home to enjoy a large family gathering or a couple’s weekend. The house was easy to find, and extremely spacious. The back porch has two areas to enjoy – the screen porch was perfect to watch the sunset and relax after dark to enjoy the sounds of the ocean. There was even a balcony off of the main bedroom for additional privacy. The private beach area was quiet and not crowded, and it was easily accessible just off the back porch. We enjoyed a relaxing walk on the beach every morning. We can’t wait to go back! I highly recommend Summer’s End for you next visit to Gulf Shores!
